monday man candy: ryan gosling

31 Jan

Without any expectations, I went to see Blue Valentine this weekend. I didn’t bother reading a synopsis for the film as I pretty much jump at any chance to gawk at Ryan Gosling for  two hours. Turns out the film was a little more blue than I had anticipated. Truth be told, parts of the movie were heart breaking and Ryan Gosling managed to look absolutely horrendous for a good portion of our two hours together; however, there were enough charming and light-hearted scenes in which Michelle and Ryan had the most darling chemistry for me to recommend it to you! Just don’t show up expecting sunshine and care bears.

One of the less traumatic scenes in Blue Valentine.

You’re welcome.

Natasha – it IS so, so sad. BUT I think if you’re prepared for it, you’ll be able to appreciate it for what it is!
